We welcome volunteers who would like to be trained to become Phone and/or Email Support Volunteers, or who would like to contribute to WellMama in other ways. Most volunteer tasks can be done from your home through email or phone. Many of the duties entail help with administrative or website related tasks, or assistance with provider contact, resources, outreach and other help.
WellMama Linn-Benton is the local chapter of Postpartum Support International (PSI) in Linn and Benton Counties of Oregon. Csilla Andor, the volunteer leader of WellMama Linn-Benton, is the local volunteer coordinator for PSI for Linn and Benton counties or Oregon. There are many other coordinators in various parts of Oregon (and all over the United States and the world.) Unfortunately, WellMama does not have the capacity to respond to crisis calls or situations. If you experience significant emotional distress or you are in a crisis, please contact your doctor's office or go to the nearest emergency room. In case of a medical or psychiatric emergency, please call 911. They have trained counselors who can help you over the phone.
